Strong In The SaddlePrivacy policy

Strong In The Saddle is run by me, Jordan Schouten, as a sole trader in Australia (ABN 89 712 006 031). I sell a digital download: the 6-Week Rider Strength Plan, with the Rider Exercise Library included. This page explains what personal information I collect, why, and what I do with it. Short version: I collect only what I need to sell you the plan and help you with it, and I never sell your information.
What I collect
- When you buy: your name, email address, billing country or postcode, and the details of your purchase (what you bought, when and for how much). This comes to me from Stripe, the payment company that runs the checkout.
- Card details: I never see or store your card number. Stripe handles all card information directly and securely.
- When you contact me: your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell me in your message.
- If you sign up for free resources (like the free 5-Minute Pre-Ride Warm-Up): your name and email address, so I can send them to you.
This website doesn't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The website host may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
Why I collect it
- To process your payment and give you access to your downloads.
- To send your receipt and download links, and to help if something goes wrong.
- To reply to your questions.
- To keep business and tax records, as Australian law requires.
- If you've signed up for free resources, to send you occasional rider tips and news about my programs. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing me.
Who I share it with
I only share your information with the services I need to run this small business:
- Stripe, which processes payments and sends receipts. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- My website host and email provider, which store and deliver the site, files and messages.
- My accountant or the ATO, where needed for tax.
Some of these services store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). They're large, established providers with their own security and privacy protections. I don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, ever.
How I look after it
Your information is kept in password-protected accounts that only I can access. I keep purchase records for as long as tax law requires (generally five years), and delete other information when I no longer need it.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it.
- You can ask me to delete your information, unless I need to keep it for legal or tax reasons.
- You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.
Just email me at jordanschouten59@gmail.com and I'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Concerns
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please email me first so I can fix it. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
